about me

I am Yasmeen Eid, a Native Egyptian Arabic Speaker and English to Arabic Translator. I have 5 years’ experience in Translation and Localization in Legal, Medical, E-Commerce and General Translations. I have a Diploma in Translation. Also, I have a certification in Digital Marketing and Content Marketing. I attended CAT tools training.

I work with Translation and Localization companies in medical, legal and marketing fields and manage different file formats such Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF files and so on. I participate in translating scientific articles, general reports, medical reports, certifications, legal documents, legal contracts, invoices, law provisions and agreements. Also I participate in translating books in legal field. I have experience in E-Commerce.

I use CATtools in my translation such Trados, Memo Q, Matecat, Smartcat and Wordfast.

I translate accurately by understanding the context of the source text and translate the meaning of it not word to word translation. I maintain the uniformity of terminology throughout the text.

Secondly, review the translation to check out any errors or missed parts. Thirdly, proofread the target after translating it to make sure it delivers the exact meaning of the source.
